We lost our Sweet Girl Molly on the morning of 01-25-09, it all started 2 day earlier I went out to check Molly and her pups in the whelping building, as I open the door to the kennel area I was not welcomed by her bark, so I was instantly concerned as I checked over her and noticed her temp. was low and she was in a bit of pain, so off to the Vet we went. As we arrived I new she was getting chilled, as we did her blood work and took X-rays we realized that she was in advanced stages of "Bloat" and her intestines were in a knot, at that point she had to have an emergence surgery... It went ok at best and the morning later she came home, luckily she was making progress... Then our worst fear came true when I realized she was starting to let go, around 6:30am Sunday morning within 20-30min as Myndie, and I held, and comforted her she past on!! We miss her very much and are forever greatful to have her bless our lives, We love you Molly.. We know your happy now!! Dispite all this sadness Molly did leave us with 9 healthy 6 day old puppies, and we will have our hands full getting them the care she would have. We also have a little help with our 6 year old Black Labrador Retriever who has taken the pups as her own!
